These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, which connects travelers (“Carriers”) with individuals who wish to send luggage or packages (“Senders”) through peer-to-peer air travel.
By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Definitions
Platform: The Ezan Express website/mobile application
Sender: A user who requests shipment of luggage/items
Carrier (Traveler): A user who agrees to transport items during their travel
Shipment: Any luggage, package, or item transported via the platform
3. Eligibility
Users must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate registration information
• Comply with all applicable laws and airline regulations
4. Nature of Service
Ezan Express:
• Acts as a facilitator between Senders and Carriers
• Does not physically transport items
• Is not a logistics carrier or courier company
All agreements for shipment are made directly between Sender and Carrier.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Sender Responsibilities
Senders agree to:
• Provide accurate item descriptions
• Not send prohibited or illegal items
• Package items securely
• Comply with customs and airline regulations
5.2 Carrier Responsibilities
Carriers agree to:
• Transport items safely and responsibly
• Follow airline baggage rules
• Declare items if required by law
• Deliver items as agreed
6. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
• Illegal drugs or substances
• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
• Perishable food items (unless specifically agreed upon and legal) or dangerous goods
• Cash, high-value jewelry, or high-value negotiable instruments
• Any item prohibited by the laws of the departure country, the destination country, or airline regulations.
Note: Travelers have the right (and are encouraged) to inspect all items before accepting them to ensure safety and legal compliance. Ezan Express reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in prohibited shipments.
7. Fees and Payments
• Service fees will be charged for using the platform
• Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
• Ezan Express may hold funds until delivery confirmation
• Refund policies will apply based on the situation
8. Liability Disclaimer
Loss or Damage: Ezan Express is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or delay of items.
Legal Consequences: The Traveler is solely responsible for declaring items at customs. The Sender is solely responsible for the legality of the item.
Ezan Express does not guarantee delivery.
Maximum Recovery: In the event of a dispute where EZAN EXPRESS is found at fault, our liability is limited strictly to the amount of the platform fee paid.
Ezan Express is not liable for actions of Senders or Carriers. Users transact at their own risk.
9. Verification and Safety
Users must provide accurate identification.
Ezan Express does not guarantee the character or intent of any user, though we may implement rating systems and ID verification.
10. Insurance
Insurance is not automatically provided.
Users are encouraged to arrange independent insurance if needed.
11. Customs and Taxes
The Traveler is responsible for complying with all customs regulations.
Any import duties or taxes imposed by authorities are the responsibility of the Sender, unless otherwise agreed.
12. Disputes
Disputes should first be resolved between Sender and Carrier.
Ezan Express may assist but does not guarantee resolution.
Final decisions may be subject to local laws.
13. Account Suspension
We reserve the right to:
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Remove listings
• Restrict access for violations of these Terms
14. Privacy
User data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to data collection and usage as outlined.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Ezan Express shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid through the platform
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
17. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
